Helping Your Child Thrive Through Play

At Native, we help children to express emotions, build resilience, and develop essential coping skills

What Is Play Therapy?

Why Play? Because Play Is How Children Communicate.

Children often struggle to put their emotions into words—but through play, they can show us what they feel and think. Play therapy is a research-backed approach that allows children to process their emotions, navigate challenges, and develop confidence in a way that feels natural to them.

Whether it’s anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, or difficulty connecting with others, play therapy offers a safe space for healing and growth.

Help Your Child Heal Through Play

If your child is struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges, trauma, or social difficulties, play therapy offers a safe and nurturing space for them to explore their feelings. Through play, children can process emotions, develop problem-solving skills, and build resilience in a way that feels natural to them. Our skilled therapists create sessions tailored to your child’s unique needs, helping them grow emotionally and feel more confident in everyday life.

Better emotional expression

Play therapy helps children communicate feelings they may not have the words to express, offering a safe outlet for their emotions.

Stronger social skills

Children build confidence in interacting with others, learning how to share, take turns, and manage relationships.

Ways to handle stress and challenges

Play therapy introduces coping tools children can use to navigate anxiety, frustration, or change in their daily lives.

Healing from past struggles or trauma

Through guided play, children process difficult experiences, gaining the emotional support they need to move forward.

I have known Nicole’s and her team for many years. Simply put, they are excellent. When making a referral, I always ask if I would send a friend or family member there. With Native, the answer is a resounding yes!
